Curious..ask?

Be anxious for nothing….God is still in control

I know it’s easier said than done….God does NOT always call the qualified, but always qualifies the called.

Do not fear, for I am with you;

Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you…I will uphold you.

Africa is my Descent-So I embrace it….

Recently attended a #Kwanzaa Party and the ladies got beaded for the new year.

This is actually my second set of SheShe Beads….I plan to keep this set longer this time. My last set of SheShe Beads I wore for 2 years!

She-She Beads are African Waist Beads…(Sheh-she:meaning Elegance)

The wearing of SheShe Beads invoke feelings of sensuality, beauty, charm, and elegance that enhance a woman’s beauty in a distinctly feminine way.

Waist beads are intergral part of body adorement and an ancient tradition symbolizing the beauty, grace, and femininity of womanhood.

Waist-beading gatherings and ceremonies are ideal for celebrating special occasions: Bridal Showers, Birthdays, Rite of Passage/Transitions, Childbirth, or any major life accomplishment.

The Bible says in 2 Peter 1:3 that as we grow in our knowledge of God, through his divine power he gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Jesus relied on the Word of God alone to overcome obstacles, including the devil. God’s Word is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), useful for correcting us when we are wrong and teaching us what is right (2 Timothy 3:16). So, it makes sense for us to carry God’s Word in our hearts through memorization, to be ready to face any problem, every difficulty, and whatsoever challenge that life can send our way.Faith Building Bible VersesPresented here are a number of problems, difficulties and challenges that we face in life, along with corresponding answers from God’s Word:

Illest Bitch Alive PERIOD

Wale’s “Illest Bitch” Speaks to me…..

…and i promised myself i wouldn’t tell you this shit today
but, tomorrow’s uncertainty promotes the urgency in this shit i’mma say
perfection doesn’t exist if it doesn’t consume her and the truth hurts that this world’s mine, but the womb is hers
ms. mother nature i pray that our daughters carry and favor your genes
and when you take off your jeans you get all the me that you need
that you allow me to work it ‘til you know what your actual worth means
and for what it’s worth, i hope a couple words could help you see…
illest bitch alive

I remember reading VIBE’s June/July Sexy Issue and an interview with Wale about his sex life-and his point of view on giving/receiving head…..and he admitted to being a victim of the classic act of pushing/forcing the head down south and “making” him taste and eat the goodness…You know you liked it!

I love his vulnerability ;)

Sincerely,

Illest Bitch Alive

80’s Baby
I was BORN in the 80’s -We are the last generation who learned to play in the street. We were the last to record songs off the radio on cassettes. We blew in our video games to make them work. We learned how to program the VCR before anyone else. We are the generation of the Thunder Cats, Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Gumby, Gummy Bears, Rainbow Bright, Saved by the Bell, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We traveled in cars without seat belts or airbags. We lived without cell phones. We did not have 99 television stations, flat screens, surround sound, mp3s, iPods, or the internet. Nevertheless we had a GREAT time!
